I have correctly understood that the 360 ​​° option is only effective with equirectangularen pictures? Not for the pictures, which still have to be put together?
Because in my workflow I first create the HDR images from the images and then stitche the HDR images. For this I deactivate the align and activate the 360 ​​° option.
So far I can not complain about the results ...

The 360° option is for a stitched panorama, not for component images.

I uses this Option over years for the single images Never had any issue. But now i know better. More important for my workflow is the unchecking of the alignment-option i believe.
